Fred started Phoenix Software International in 1979, with an eye on providing valuable software solutions to organizations that leverage mainframe technology. His strong leadership, his passion for technology, and focus on the three pillars of his development philosophy—(1) focus on software modernization, (2) leverage the latest hardware/software technology, and (3) provide the best possible user experience—are what has created a loyal customer base and made Phoenix a leader in its industry. These traits along with his general inquisitiveness, are what will continue to propel his team and Phoenix as an organization in the future.

Chief Technology Officer
Ed began his software development career by writing applications for government and research organizations in Washington, D.C. After moving to Los Angeles in 1982, he transitioned to the banking industry and eventually joined Phoenix Software International in 1987. He became Manager of Research & Development in the mid-1990s and was named Chief Technology Officer in 2009. Ed co-manages the MVS Program at SHARE, and is recognized throughout the mainframe community as a subject matter expert and strong advocate for the IBM Z platform.

Nicholas A. Miller
Chief Financial Officer
Nick earned his J.D. and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University (Indianapolis) in 1982 and Indiana University (Bloomington) in 1979, respectively. He was admitted to practice law in Indiana and Texas in 1982 where he holds a voluntary non-practicing status. Nick joined the Phoenix team in 1993 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. His background in law and accounting make his contributions to supporting Phoenix’s financial reporting responsibilities, contract and administration, corporate governance and compliance, and corporate acquisition processes invaluable.

Donna J. Hudi
Chief Marketing Officer
Donna has more than 30 years of financial service, technology, marketing, and executive management experience spanning the asset management, software development, consulting, and non-profit industries. Prior to joining Phoenix Software as their Chief Marketing Officer, she served as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer for SHARE Association, the first and largest independent technology association user group. Prior to joining SHARE, she served in various leadership positions where she provided a wide‐range of strategic, technology, operational, and marketing guidance and support.
