Fred G. Hoschett
Chief Executive Officer
Fred started Phoenix Software International in 1979, with an eye on providing valuable software solutions to organizations that leverage IBM Z technology. His strong leadership, his passion for technology, and focus on the three pillars of his development philosophy—(1) focus on software modernization, (2) leverage the latest hardware/software technology, and (3) provide the best possible user experience—are what has created a loyal customer base and made Phoenix a leader in its industry. These traits along with his general inquisitiveness, are what will continue to propel his team and Phoenix as an organization in the future.
“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day.”
