CPU ID Update (PDF)
Do you need to register your initial configuration, subsequent CPU change request, or periodic (e.g. annual) CPU Configuration Report for zHISR? Licensed zHISR customers can use this form.
License Code Requests
Need a license code for renewing a recently expired system, resetting the start time after a disaster recovery event, or installing a new zHISR release? Existing zHISR customers with maintenance contracts may submit a request here.
NOTE: License codes come with a 7-, 14-, or 21-day grace period to allow running zHISR in unrecognized or oversized environments for disaster recovery tests, processor maintenance, or capacity upgradesāor recovery from an actual disaster or emergency.

A release is stabilized four years after general availability. A generally available ZHISR release will be in one of three support statuses, the meanings of which are shown in the table below.

Hardware Support
zHISR runs on the following IBM Z processors or the OEM equivalent:
- IBM z15
- IBM z14
- IBM z13 and z13s
- IBM zEnterprise EC12 (zEC12) and BC12 (zBC12)
- IBM zEnterprise 196 (z196) and 114 (z114)
- IBM System z10 Enterprise Class (z10 EC) and Business Class (z10 BC)
Note: While an IBM Z processors (System z10 or later) running z/OS in an LPAR is required to provide the sampling function, the analysis by zHISR is not restricted to these environments. The sample data can be transferred to an older processor or a z/VM guest z/OS with zHISR installed.
