Release Status/Corrective Service Download

Support for each JES3plus release is coterminous with the IBM z/OS release generally available at the time of the JES3plus GA. A generally available JES3plus release will be in one of five support statuses, the meanings of which are shown in the table below.

Hardware Support

JES3plus runs on the following IBM Z processors or the OEM equivalent:

  • IBM z15
  • IBM z14
  • IBM z13 and z13s
  • IBM zEnterprise EC12 (zEC12) and BC12 (zBC12)
  • IBM zEnterprise 196 (z196) and 114 (z114)
  • IBM System z10 Enterprise Class (z10 EC) and Business Class (z10 BC)
