Release Status/Corrective Service Download

You can use SMP/E’s RECEIVE ORDER command to obtain service. PTFs and HOLDDATA (see HOLDDATA fix categories) will be downloaded automatically.

A JES3plus release is assigned to the Full support tier when it becomes generally available. Typically, it is assigned to the Limited support tier three years later and to the End of Service support tier coterminous with the IBM z/OS release that was generally available at the time of GA. Some enhancements might, at PSI's option, be rolled back to the n-1 release.
