CONDOR, FALCON and CYGNET MVS 20.1 and VSE 26.1 Include Date Format Choices
The new releases of z/OS and z/VSE CONDOR, FALCON and CYGNET include a number of useful features:
The date format for user sessions can be determined with SYSDATE, MDY, DMY and YMD commands. The format the user selects is remembered across sessions.
CYGNET now supports the CICS transaction server.
z/OS
The core utility in CONDOR and CYGNET has been enhanced for greater security by employing SAF resources to protect display and alter capabilities when using external security.
z/VSE
z/VSE 5.1 or later exploits 64B storage—system buffers, temporary storage and some working storage are defined in 64b storage if available.
