Phoenix Software Spooler Offering Name Revealed: JES3plus®
Today Phoenix Software International is happy to reveal the name of our Job Entry Subsystem (JES) based on IBM®’s z/OS JES3. The new name, JES3plus®, was chosen because it emphasizes the fact that, while the product will function identically to JES3 V2R4 when it becomes generally available in March 2020, there is a road map for enhancements and no planned end of life. The same, only better!
Phoenix Software furthers it’s commitment to z/OS JES3 customers by bringing Peter Kania onto our JES3plus team as a Senior Software Developer. Mr. Kania was a software developer at IBM for 45 years, 35 of which were spent developing z/OS JES3.
